An Introduction to Principle of Logic Mechanics
Since the news on the Principle of Logic Mechanics (to be abbreviated to PLM in the following) has been published on the internet, the authors have been receiving a number of E-mails inquiring about academical problems related to the theory. It is impossible for us to reply them one by one.. thank you for your understanding. In order for readers to comprehend the theory profoundly, now a simple introduction to the basic thought and principles of the theory will be given in the following: 1. Philosophical basis of LPM. Being and naught are the couple of basic categories cited by PLM, they are a theoretical starting-point of establishing the whole ideological system of the theory. Being and naught are also a couple of categories of dialectics , which are consistent with the existence discussed in philosophy. Where, by existence is meant ultimate substance (i.e., noumenon) which produces all things and space-time. In the view of materialism,the universe originates from substance of materiality; in the view of idealism, the universe originates from substance of spirituality; while in religion, the God is simply to be regarded as the highest substance that creates the universe. We think that it is not important for what the origin of the universe to be treated as, what is important is that what exactly this kind of the origin is, could humankind recognize it? Firstly, we think that it is recognizable. Individual is possessed of limited cognitive ability , but boundless for the whole mankind. As viewed from history of science, since the Europe Industrial Revolution, many significant breakthroughs one after another have been being acquired in natural science, each time promoting human society to develop forward greatly. All that things which were considered as inconceivable for people at that time, now have been changing into realities. All these show that the human intelligence is infinite, so mankind is possessed of fully ability to recognize the essence of the universe. Secondly, now that we are able to recognize the essence of the universe, hence, there will be a problem of what exactly it is. The authors think that logic is the final substance forming all things in the nature, it is also true power source for thing to exist and develop. By logic is meant objective logic existing generally in nature, which is abstract substantial existence. Its characteristics are as follows: (1) Logic is a objective reality which is invisible and exists beyond space-time. (2) As for as the self-existing form of the logic is concerned, it is naught. (3) As for its objective reality, logic has definitive properties of quality, therefore, it is not naught but being. It is thus clear that logic is a unity of being and naught beyond space-time, but due to its super space-time in essence, so it is a abstract substance but not absolute naught. As objective reality, logic is not a passive thing, it has self-affirmative and self-negative which makes the being and naught transform each other. This shows that logic is possessed of intrinsical initiative of self-motion----- this is exactly the cardinal reason that the nature exists and moves. As above-mentioned, the naught represents the ultimate substance constituting all things in the nature, the being represents the physical space-time world with the form of phenomena. The transformation between the being and naught originates from the self-affirmative and self-negative residing in the logic, this kind transformation is a concrete manifestation that the fundamental law of the universe------ the law of the unity of opposites behaves in the depths of the essence of the matter world. In microcosmos, the matter structure and interactions etc. are all intimately related to the most fundamental form of motion which is inherent in the nature. The self-affirmative and self-negative of the matter noumenon can be expressed as follows: 0=0, 0≠0. This formula means that 0 must simultaneously equal to 0 and not equal to 0. The formula is a dynamical model containing the properties of Yin versus Yang (negative principle versus positive principle) and positive versus negative and so on, its mathematical expression is W(t)=Exp(jωt). This is the just logic quantum on theory. 0=0 and 0≠0 are reflection of the law of the unity of opposites in mathematics, and also the key thought on dialectics of quantity regarding the whole nature. Though this formula looks very simple, but it is a theoretical basis of the entire Logic Mechanics. Some basic equations of the theory including the unified field equation of the electromagnetic structure of a particle , the field equation of grand unification of the weak, the electromagnetic and the strong interactions and so on are exactly established by the guidance of this thought. Here it is seemingly shown that there is a truth: the nature originates from simplicity rather than complexity. 2. Research methods of PLM (Principle of Logic Mechanics). Today, physics has been developing to such extent: in its frontier fields, the gap between some of basic hypothesis as well as fundamental concepts etc. and the direct experience fields is more and more distant. Some concepts, for example, the probability description of mircoparticles, quark, gauge field, phase factor, superstring , supersymmetry, renormalization group, higher dimensional universe, cosmic big bang, wave-particle duality and so on are no way to behave in our direct experience fields.These concepts mostly can be grasped on reason with the help of particular mathematics tools (e.g., infinitesimal geometry, group theory, topography and so on) and high abstract thoughts. Essentially, so called high abstract thoughts or rational thoughts are philosophizing, this means that physics has intimately relations with philosophies. The objects of study of PLM are the elementary structures of matter, interactions and laws of motion in mirocosmos, and also, often are these problems concerned with philosophies. Through many years of study, the authors have been more and more realizing that to research into the matter structures and its laws of motion in microcosmos, the scientific spirit of tracing to its source must be abided by. First of all, the fundamental problem of what exactly is the matter noumenon which constitutes all things in the nature should be clarified, secondly, the internal relations between the noumenon world and the space-time physical world must be revealed. However, it is difficult to describe the noumenon world by using common physics methods. From the view of pursuing the true, the good and the beautiful, the final object of physics is to reveal the ultimate and common essence that hides behind various physical phenomena. In the face of this arduous cognition, if we are only aware, again and again, of pursuing the essence in the boundless progression of structures and levels on phenomena, but lack, in the aspects of matter noumenon and substance, the profoundly understanding to the various quantum fields and particles we have discovered, then we couldn’t achieve our true object in the process of this infinite pursuit. To break through the obstacles that modern physics encounters in its path of development, only through researching on the matter noumenon and its internal forms could it be solved. Such being the case, on the research methods of PLM, we can’t entirely follow the tradition of positivism in physics, but must make use of deductive inference methods to construct the theoretical frame and even the whole system. Of course, inductive method that is based on experiments is not yet eliminated from PLM. Epistemologically and methodologically, deduction and induction are a dialectical unity, they depend on and permeate through each other. 3. Equations and evidences: The aim of this paper is to provide new research methods for the modern physics and to solve some difficult problems in its frontier fields Starting with the original forms of substance,the essence of space-time is summed up as a problem of pure logic,and through the quantizing to “the law of the unity of opposites”,the essential unit which constitutes the space-time ——the field equation of logic quantum W(t,θ,φ)=exp［j(ωt+Φ(r,θ,φ))］ and the interaction potential field equation of logic quantum U=Re{KVexp［jΔΦ(r,θ,φ)］｝ are given.From the above equations,the unified field equation of the electromagnetic structure of a particle and the field equation of grand unification of the weak,the electromagnetic and the strong interactions etc.are deduced.Combining these field equations with the related experimental achievements of modern physics,the following proofs or explanations are given:(1) quark imprisonment and asymptotic freedom of the strong interaction,(2) quark fractional charge ±e/3 and ±2e/3,(3) nuclear force,(4) that the essence of the spin of a particle is the rotation of complex phase field on the particle surface,its spin quantum number can only choose J=±N/2 (N=0,1,2,…),(5) the intensity and range of the weak,the electromagnetic and the strong as well as why they all are Yukawa-type interactions,(6) the energy scales of the grand and super-grand unification are respectively 1.3×1016GeV≤Eews≤4.44×1016GeV,EG=1.22×1019GeV,(7) wave-particle duality of a particle,hydrogen atom structure and why there is not atom-antimatter in the nature,(8) radius dimension of a particle. Gravitation originates from the drawing action to the vacuum due to the volume changes of a particle,the mechanism producing gravitation has its own particularity.But the gravitation with other three kinds of interaction is possessed of inseparable internal relations,is an essential portion for the logic mechanics served as an integral theory.Under the condition of low energy,the gravitational field equation given by the paper degenerates into Newton’s gravitational equation. This theory is compatible with relativity,quantum mechanics and modern particle physics etc...Some essential formulas in physics are intrinsically unified in the theory.
