硬盘盘片是非常精密的元器件，假如表面有一定程度的突起或者凹陷都会严重影响磁头的正常工作。因此盘片的表面相当光滑，比一般的镜子还要平整许多。不过遗憾的是发现用它作镜子反射出来的物体偏红褐色，大家可以试试看。需要提醒的是，硬盘内部一旦暴露在含有大量灰尘的空气中后就可以算是报废了，所以请大家不要对尚能够正常使用的硬盘动手。

其实光驱托盘的尺寸对于一般的杯子来说是非常合适的，而如果光驱还没报废的话我并不建议大家这么做，因为这样显然大大增加了托盘和导轨的受力，对光驱损伤比较大。
