(Mount Qomolangma – highest mount of Himalaya, over 8,000 meters)
(Harvest, did not say where though, could be Sichuan Province, Hunan Province or Jiangxi Province where the food is very spicy, but in different style)
(Lijiang, Yunnan Province - There is an ancient town in the city, which is well known for the somewhat ancient architecture, at the foot of the Yulong snow mountain. Nice weather there… the sky could be almost purple there. J I have been there before, beautiful. AND, very interesting, there is a street in this ancient town, full of bars and was said to be full of foreigners… did not get the chance to check out… And if you like, you can pay RMB 20-50 (price at least 4 years ago) to stay with the residents in this small town. The snow mountain was amazing, over 4,100m high.) (Garden of Guo’s, Hangzhou! It was a private garden of one of the rich guy, surnamed Guo, in Hangzhou. Now, it’s open to public. I do not know what makes it outstanding here, except that there is a platform facing the West Lake in this very small/tiny garden and the view is very nice esp. on the Moon’s Festival night; and it belonged to one person. Besides that, it’s pretty common. It’s now one of the few parks where administration fee is still required. Most of the parks along the West Lake are open to public for free! You may in the link I sent in the email, found some pic of this private garden). (Terracotta Warrior, Xi’an, Shanxi Province – We expected it to be the tomb of Emperor Qing when they found this… but it was actually a fake tomb. Even now, we are not sure where Emperor Qing was burried… My history was too poor to figure out when these warriors were made, I believe it was sometime B.C. Sorry. J )
(Yungang Grottoes, Shanxi Province – they were part of the hill… amazing) (Village Hong, Anhui Province… If I am not wrong, it shall not be this name, the village… but I could not recall the name of the village now. It’s about hours’ drive from the Yellow Mountain. An ancient village, where the Anhui merchants used to live in Qing Dynasty, the last dynasty. It’s beautiful, and very interesting to visit. Good place for photographing.) (Ancient City, Pingyao, Shangxi Province – wow! Gorgeous! On my list to visit.) (Residence Building, Fujian. These are the buildings where one of the Chinese minority lives in Fujian. Was said to be very scientifically designed so that every unit could get sunshine, etc. There was a program introducing this building in CCTV many years ago) (Potala Palace, Tibet – the place I want to visit, but do not know if I would be able to visit)
